November 2017 – grade 3

Students in grade three have been learning about ostinato – a short repeated accompaniment pattern.  In addition to singing and playing ostinato patterns they have also been trying to aurally identify them.  Can you hear the repeated ostinato pattern in “Berceuse” (lullaby) by Igor Stravinsky?
